Department of Information Science at the College of Life Sciences organized a lecture titled "Artificial Intelligence Patterns, Risks, and Ethics: Building Responsible AI Systems." The lecture was presented by the Acting Head of the Department of Information Science, Professor Dr. Kasim Saleh, and attended by faculty members and other interested individuals. It took place at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, December 10th.
Professor Dr. Kasim Saleh began the lecture with a brief introduction to artificial intelligence. He then reviewed the various applications of AI and addressed the associated ethical risks, explaining how to mitigate and manage them responsibly. At the conclusion of the lecture, Dr. Fatima Hussein, Head of the Department's Social Committee, presented Professor Dr. Kasim Saleh with an award in recognition of his outstanding efforts and the valuable information he shared during the lecture.
