ClickIT Club, part of the Information Science Department at the College of Life Sciences, Kuwait University, organized a training workshop titled “Introduction to Cryptography: A Branch of Cybersecurity.” The workshop was presented by student Abdulrahman Al-Shabrawi on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 12:30 PM.

This workshop reflects the club's commitment to enhancing students' technological literacy and equipping them with fundamental concepts in cryptography and information security, a crucial modern field for protecting digital systems and addressing cyberattacks. 

During the workshop, students learned about the basic principles of encryption, its types, and its application in various electronic systems. They also explored its role in data protection and ensuring information confidentiality in the digital age. The workshop witnessed a significant turnout from students across the college, who demonstrated keen interest in the presented content, reflecting the importance of cybersecurity and the growing demand for specialists in the field.

 At the end of the event, participants were given online certificates for their attendance, participation, and keenness to develop their technical skills.
