Organized by the Deanship of the College of Life Sciences, the open meeting was held between the college students and the deanship, in the presence of the Acting Dean of the College, Dr. Nawaf Al-Hajri, the Acting Assistant Deans, the Heads of the Scientific Departments, a number of members of the academic staff and the Administrative Director of the College, at exactly 1:00 pm on Monday, November 25, 2024 in the College Reception Hall.

Initially, after welcoming the attendees, Dr. Al-Hajri explained that this meeting was held to listen to the students' problems and suggestions and to try to overcome the difficulties they face, especially with the absence of student associations.

In turn, the Acting Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Sharifa Al-Kandari, in response to students' questions, explained the By Force registration policy, the subjects that the student must pass before specialization, the plan that the student must follow and what relates to academic burdens, pointing out the advantages of the Dean's Honor List for outstanding students.

She stated that the problem of not having enough seats for continuing students is due to the integration of new students with those continuing during the registration period, and that this problem will be solved in the next semester so that most students can register more smoothly.

A number of students also presented their proposals for consideration by the college deanship, including providing free workshops through the college's consulting and training office by a member of the college's academic staff, and counting training course hours as part of the field training hours for students.

In conclusion, the acting dean of the college, Dr. Nawaf Al-Hajri, revealed that the college intends to hold a graduation ceremony for its students on campus, stressing his presence and the college's academic and administrative staff to listen to the students and help them at any time.
