
Click IT Club Hosts a Training Workshop Entitled "Introduction to Python Programming Language" in Collaboration with Kars and Py Data Platform
In collaboration with the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Association (KARS) of the College of Engineering and Petroleum and the Py Data Platform, the Click IT Club of the Department of Information Sciences in the College of Life Sciences hosted a workshop entitled "Introduction to Python Programming Language", presented by Eng. Asmaa Al-Azmi, under the supervision of Dr. Zahraa Maarefi from the Department of Information Sciences.
The workshop was held on February 17 and 19, 2025, from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at the College of Life Sciences. This initiative comes to achieve scientific and professional goals, and to enhance joint cooperation between the various professional clubs at the university, in line with the requirements of the era of artificial intelligence and data science.
This workshop aimed to enhance the participants' skills in the Python language through practical application, as the basic concepts of the language were explored in an interactive practical environment. This workshop came as an extension of the success achieved by the previous workshop, with the expansion of the scope of cooperation to include clubs specialized in the field of programming and data science.
Dr. Zahraa stressed that the widespread use of the Python language in academic, industrial and research circles makes it a valuable option for students, given its ease of learning and its multiple applications in the fields of engineering, biology, social sciences and others, pointing out the importance of learning it in the era of artificial intelligence and rapid technological development.
