Orientation Meeting for New Students
at the College of Life Sciences

The Guidance and Counseling Office at the College of Life Sciences, Kuwait University, held an orientation meeting for new male and female students for the First Semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. The event took place at the Roman Theater of the College of Life Sciences on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, during the university’s free period.

The meeting began with Ms. Abrar Al-Sheiha, Head of the Student Counseling Unit at the Guidance Office, welcoming the students and highlighting the important role the office plays in assisting students by answering their academic inquiries and providing support to help them successfully complete their academic journey.

She emphasized the importance of obtaining official information regarding graduation requirements, transfer conditions, registration dates, and official links directly from the Guidance and Counseling Office, and not relying on WhatsApp groups. She also pointed out that the office regularly shares important updates on its official social media platforms, and that students can communicate with the office through Microsoft Teams.

In this context, Ms. Al-Sheiha stressed the need for students to visit the Guidance and Counseling Office if they receive an academic probation notice. She also explained the university’s rules and regulations and answered students’ questions and inquiries.

This meeting comes as part of Kuwait University’s ongoing efforts to familiarize students with university regulations and clarify the study system and course registration procedures.
