College of Life Sciences Clubs Participate in Professional Clubs Forum and Exhibition at Kuwait University Colleges

Organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, the Professional Clubs Forum and Exhibition was held at Kuwait University colleges. The event was attended by the Acting Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, Dr. Awad Al-Dhafiri, and the Acting Dean of the College of Life Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Lafi, along with a large number of leaders, administrators, and students at Kuwait University. The event took place on Monday afternoon, April 28, 2025, at the College of Administrative Sciences. 

The event included the announcement of the winners of the Excellence Award for Professional Clubs at Kuwait University colleges, in which approximately 30 student clubs from various colleges participated. The event highlighted the activities of the Union Department in the "Pulse of Culture" project, which aims to highlight student talent and develop cultural awareness and union work among students. In this regard, the "Nutroviva" Club, affiliated with the Department of Food Sciences and Nutrition, won the award for Best Club for Organizing Exhibitions, both inside and outside Kuwait University. Student Shahad Ghuloum, from the "Nutroviva" Club, also won the award for Outstanding Students who contributed to the success of the union department's activities in the "Nabd Al-Thaqafa" project. 

It is worth noting that several clubs from the College of Life Sciences participated in this forum: the "Aber" Club, affiliated with the Department of Communication Disorders Sciences; the "Nutroviva" Club, affiliated with the Department of Food Sciences and Nutrition; and the "Click It" Club, affiliated with the Department of Information Sciences. Each club showcased its achievements and activities and introduced visitors to the activities it offers and organizes for students and the science department.
