Aber Club Holds an SLP Day Event to Celebrate Speech-Language Pathologist Day

Organized by the Aber Club, affiliated with the Department of Communication Disorders, the SLP Day event was held on Monday afternoon, May 12, 2025, at the College of Life Sciences. The event was held to celebrate World Speech-Language Pathologist Day, and was attended by a large number of specialist doctors, students, and specialists from various hospitals and specialized institutions. This event aimed to raise awareness about the role of speech-language pathologists and highlight their areas of work through awareness, information, and information booths. The event was organized jointly by members of the Aber Club, supervised by Dr. Ruba Al-Mulaifi, and a number of students from the department, in addition to external entities. It is worth noting that the event witnessed significant interaction from visitors, providing them with the opportunity to gain a closer understanding of the specialty and its fields of work, in an enriching educational environment that combines awareness with practical application.
