Program Education Objective:
The FSN program graduate will be qualified to fill a variety of positions in the health de­livery system, the food industry, educational institutes, government regulatory bodies, social service agencies, and research institutes.

Program Details

Graduation Requirements:
The curriculum followed by a student in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition provides her with an understanding of food science and nutrition-related problems that individuals and families face and the ability to analyze, plan, design and implement the various Food Science and Nutrition' programs efficiently and effectively in business, government, social and educational environments. To gradu­ate, a student must complete 126 credit hours. This includes all course requirements, internship, cap­stone project, portfolio, …etc. In addition, the student must have an overall GPA of 2.0 or above and a GPA of 2.0 or above for all courses in their chosen major area of the department.
